Citrus Patchouli Soap
Scent Description: Tart and juicy citrus paired with patchouli is divinity, a tart and sultry fragrance a good choice for those don't normally go for patchouli scents, we dare you to try this! The orange balances the heavier patchouli scent just right, lending a sweetness that makes this fragrance so good you won't be able to help but say you love patchouli!
Ingredients: (by weight) – [Coconut] Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, [Palm oil] ELAEIS GUINEENSIS Oil, [Shea Butter] Butyrospermum Parkii, [Water] Aqua, [Lye (NaOH)] Sodium Hydroxide, [Canola] Canola oil, Coca Butter [Castor] Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Fragrance Oil, Mica (Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Activated Charcoal).
WARNING: Some people are sensitive to lye (sodium hydroxide) or fragrance oils before using test soap on the inner arm to test for a reaction before using it on the rest of the body.
How it’s made: In simple terms, making soap combines oils, water, and caustic salts for emulsification. When this happens, a chemical reaction causes everything to heat up, undergoing saponification, and within 24-48 hours, you have soap. After a cure time of 4-6 weeks, a lot of water evaporates, hardening the soap to last longer in the shower. Each soap maker has its ways of doing things; some keep it simple, and others will give you a product filled with unique oils and butter that your skin loves. This product is functional art of intricate swirls, patterns, and colors. We strive to provide skin-nourishing products and functional art as well. No two bars are ever the same.
